Sheikh Hussain Hamid Hassan (Chairman)

Dr. Hassan served as a Professor of Shariah in the Faculty of Law and Economics at Cairo University between 1960 and 2002. Currently, he chairs numerous Shariah supervisory committees. Dr Hassan has authored twenty-one books on Islamic law, finance, economics, social studies and art, in addition to more than 400 research articles on these subjects.

Dr. Ali AlQaradaghi

Dr. AlQaradaghi is a Professor of Islamic financial contracts and heads the Department of Islamic Jurisprudence in the College of Shariah and Islamic Studies at the University of Qatar. He has founded numerous charitable organizations and international Islamic jurisprudence bodies. Dr AlQaradaghi has authored eight books, with several more in various stages of publication, on topics including Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic thought.

Dr. Abdul Sattar Abu Ghuddah

Dr. Ghuddah has instructed at Imam Al Da'awa Institute (Riyadh), Religious Institute (Kuwait), and the Shariah College of the Law Faculty at Kuwait University. He is the Shariah Advisor and Director of the Department of Financial Instruments at Al-Baraka Investment Co. in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Daud Bakar

Dr. Bakar is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Institute of Islamic Finance. His areas of specialization include Islamic legal theory, Banking and Finance, Law of Zakat and Medieval Law. He is the former Associate Professor in Islamic Law and Deputy Rector at the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He has published more than thirty articles in academic journals and presented more than 120 papers.

Dr. Abdulaziz Fawzan Saleh Alfawza

Dr Alfawzan is one of the most renowned Sharia scholars in Saudi Arabia. With an extensive academic training in the field of Islamic Jurisprudence at some of the most esteemed academic institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he holds a strong command on Sharia matters related to finance.

Dr Alfawzan has also served in various academic capacities. He has in past served as Head of Islamic Studies Department at the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America and Assistant Professor / Head of Comparative Jurisprudence at The Institute of Higher Jurisprudence of Al-Imam Mohammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He has also authored numerous articles and research papers and is frequently invited by national TV and Radio programmes. He also supervises a large number of doctoral theses.
