AEAS Fund Overview

The Amiri Equity Alternative Strategies Fund (AEAS) is a Shariah compliant, multi-manager global equity long-short fund. It is one of the first Islamic alternative investment funds. A number of well established non-Islamic long-short equity fund managers manage Shariah compliant segregated accounts within the Amiri Fund using the Amiri Capital Shariah infrastructure (see “Key Shariah Structures” section). Coronation International (see “Amiri Capital Partnerships” section), an established fund of funds manager, is responsible for constructing the portfolio of fund managers.
